Recording issues

Hi All
How can I record a programme without it freezing every 20s or so.
I don't change channels when recording.
This happens on every app and device like 2nd gen fire cube and android phone.
130mbs ethernet connected, cache cleared on all apps.

Hey,
so have you tried resetting the cube to factory settings? could be the first step.
Also, does it do the same behavior when you are watching LiveTV without recording?

Live viewing is fine it, is only when I start recording I get the issue, I also get the same problem on my phone as well.
I don't want to factory reset as I don't believe that it is a device issue.

Thing is, you mentioned a fixed interval of 20 seconds. These intervals, when they are fixed, usually point to a lack of resources. For instance it could be lack of RAM. Could be many things but you need to touch on each possibility one by one or do a factory reset and see if it works.

Which app are you using?
