IPTV Smarters Pro is not available on Google Playstore anymore! Thats because it has been removed, losing to a legal dispute. We're going to discuss the reason and provide alternatives.

In early 2022, Spanish LaLiga started a law suit against some of the Video/Media Players available on Google PlayStore and Apple's Appstore demanding them to be removed from those two big application market places. IPTV Smarters Pro was among one of those listed applications. This app is not available in Playstore anymore but worry not! there are alternatives to it.

 

Side-Loading would be the best workaround to this problem. In this method, you can download the APK file (The android installation package) from WHMCS Smarters official website directly to your android device. Then open the APK file and install the application. Smarters Player Lite, the newly coded IPTV Smarters Pro from the same team, would be the immediate alternative application which is available on Playstore. It is named Lite but it has all the Pro functionality and features. By the time of writing this article (January 2023) IPTV Smarters Pro is removed from Google Playstore. Therefore, the only way to have the same features of that application from an app available on playstore is to install and use Smarters Player Lite. It's the latest version of the old IPTV Smarters Pro with all the recent bug fixes. TiviMate is one of the greatest applications. It has TV Archive, scheduled recording, EPG and Picons support. Smart IPTV App is one of the most well-known and very well liked IPTV applications which is available on almost all operating systems and various devices. It can be installed Android devices like Android TV or TV Box, Firestick and Smart TVs like LG and Samsung. It is, however, removed from Google Playstore and Amazon Web Content store. With Android OS comes various options among IPTV Applications on Google Playstore, and even if those apps are not available on Playstore or removed, you can easily side-load them as mentioned above. So basically, as long as your are using an android device, an application being removed from Google content store should not be a problem. With Apple device though, this is going to be hard as on iOS we dont have side-loading as a possibility. Therefore, when it comes to IPTV, go for Android devices.
